Commercial Project Profile
Cove Presbyterian Church
Client: Cove Presbyterian Church
Location: Covesville, VA
Completion: January 2022
Nestled in Covesville, Virginia, Cove Presbyterian Church has long been a steady presence in its close-knit community. Seeking a practical way to care for its campus and operate more sustainably, the church made the decision to incorporate solar energy into the property’s infrastructure. In partnership with Tiger Solar, the church installed a thoughtfully designed rooftop solar system, bringing clean, renewable energy to the facility while preserving the character of the existing structure.
The installation features an 18.06-kilowatt rooftop solar system, consisting of 42 total modules paired with 11 microinverters to optimize panel-level performance and system reliability. By incorporating microinverter technology, the system enhances performance monitoring and efficiency to ensure consistent output across varying conditions throughout the year. The installation was carefully configured to complement the church’s existing structure while delivering dependable and efficient energy production for years to come.
With the system now in place, Cove Presbyterian Church has added a dependable onsite source of clean energy to its campus. The system now contributes directly to the facility’s day-to-day electrical needs, reducing reliance on utility power and supporting long-term operational efficiency. For a community-centered church, this project is a practical step toward thoughtful resource management and lowering environmental impact while strengthening the sustainability of the property for years ahead. By integrating solar energy into its existing structure, Cove Presbyterian Church has invested in a solution that will quietly and consistently deliver value for decades to come.
